Ms. Anne Barrett, Strategic Advisor Enterprise West Public Sector, Cisco Systems

Anne Barrett has worked with many of the world's leading companies and governments to help them become more effective through technology deployment.  She has 20 years of experience in strategic policy development, risk management and implementation of IT and telecommunications projects. Anne is currently a Strategic Advisor for the Enterprise West Public Sector region at Cisco Systems where she leads teams in engagements that drive customer business results and technology wins for the City and County of Los Angeles and Los Angeles Unified School District.

Prior to this, Anne Barrett lead the IT Excellence solution with IBSG.  Her focus was helping public sector and Fortune 500 customers transform their IT organization to enable the enterprise for e-Business and reduce business risk.  This included the adaptation of Internet Readiness to specifically address IT capabilities, scaling best practices for IT, Internet Capabilities for IT and developing the “how-to” for IT transformation. 

Prior to joining Cisco, Anne held various leadership positions with American Express Technologies Group and Wells Fargo.  In those capacities, leading international teams, she was responsible for redesigning and deploying global processes, technology and organizations to deliver end-to-end high availability, service fulfillment and asset management.

Anne holds a B.S. and M.S. in Management Information Systems from the University of Arizona.
