Ms. Wyllstyne Hill, Vice President & CIO of Information Technology, Raytheon Missile Systems
In Wyllstyne’s (“Styne”) previous position as Director of Information Technology for RMS she was responsible for providing vision and direction enabling the enterprise to achieve strategic technology and business objectives.
Styne was appointed to VP and CIO of Information Technology, RMS in November 2002. In this position, she leads a complex IT environment supporting 10,000+ employees and several Missile Offsites. Styne has over 25 years experience in the defense industry having held numerous management positions within Manufacturing Operations, System Engineering, Product Effectiveness, Reliability Engineering, Productivity/Quality, Supply Chain Management, Engineering Evaluation & Support, and Product Evaluation & Test Operations.
Her skills and experience leading large scale programs and project management initiatives for IT technologies and techniques are critical to the success of our customers for Raytheon. Styne is also responsible for a sourcing strategy that balances the IT needs of many defense programs and support organizations with the challenges of obtaining services in an outsourced IT environment. Her organization is a leader in sharing technology vision and successes company wide.
Styne's educational background includes: Undergraduate - Mathematics major, Computer Science minor; Graduate studies: Systems Engineering, Business Management, Karl Eller Graduate School of Management Arizona Executive Program.
