Ms. Lisa McNew, CEO, Alliance for Technology and Women
Lisa is a strategic, innovative and results-oriented executive with an 18-year career in business. She has a special passion for improving advancement opportunities of women and girls in technology, with emphasis on mentoring. The result was her vision that led her to found ATW - an international non-profit focused on empowering women in technology, increasing the number of women in executive roles and encouraging women and girls to enter technology fields.
Prior to launching ATW, Lisa held executive and leadership positions at Fortune 20 to Fortune 1000 and start-up companies with responsibility for strategy, business development and planning, product management and change management. Specific to operations and technology, she has led the development of metrics-based performance monitoring, vendor management, contract negotiation, and PMO methods and design.
She has been featured in national news publications and magazines including the Wall Street Journal, Dallas News, Dallas Business Journal, Seattle Times, Private Clubs and American Way.
Lisa holds an MBA from the University of Texas, and a Bachelor of Arts degree in Economics from the University of Arizona. In addition she serves on the advisory boards of the National Girls Collaborative Project. She is an advisor to the Girl Scouts Tejas Council, a member of the Greater Dallas Chamber of Commerce and Phi Beta Kappa.
In her lifelong commitment to growth and education, she has attended Northwestern’s Kellogg Executive Track program and was an advisor in the design of a UT Dallas executive leadership course, "Positioning Women for Corporate Boards."
