Unfortunately, at this time, since H-1Bs application deadline is almost upon us (April 1st), this department is seeking primarily U.S. Citizens and permanent residents.

International students may apply and be considered if they qualify for OPT, but there may be a problem with the timing of their OPT since OPT last for one year and H-1B are always due on October 1st. On that same note Canadian/Mexicans can apply for their OPT and, while waiting for next year’s H-1B process, they can cover the gap by applying for a TN-1 VISA (NAFTA).
