Undergraduate Program

The Department of Management Information Systems at the University of Arizona offers three programs culminating in a Bachelor of Science in Business Administration (BSBA) degree. Students may major in Management Information Systems (MIS), Operations Management (OM) or obtain a dual degree in Management Information Systems and Operations Management (MIS/OM).

As part of the Eller College of Management, this program focuses the curriculum for these programs on their application in a business environment. The program not only concentrates on information systems and production processes, but also on how to analyze a business situation, to determine the opportunities and threats facing a buisiness entity and how MIS fits into the overal strategy for success. There is a strong focus on teamwork and hands-on application. You will also have the opportunity to develop skills in potential areas such as business writing and project management.
